Workshop Name: Photographing Nicaragua's Land & People
Location: , Granada, Nicaragua
Notes: Experience the beauty of Nicaragua, the land of lakes and volcanoes, its colonial architecture, scenic countryside, wildlife, and people. This digital workshop explores the creative aspects of photography in and around Granada, a city rich in culture and old world charm. Join Jennifer Davidson, whose work documents life in the American West and Latin America, for a course that aims to sharpen technical skills and emphasizes seeing light and being "in the moment" in order to capture emotion and sense of place in our photographs. There will be daily critiques, and Jennifer will offer individual guidance to help photographers explore their creative limits. Daily discussions will include topics such as approaching and engaging people for photography, how to improve portraits and landscapes, and more. Students may discover that the most interesting subjects are Granada's gracious people, including the children of Empowerment International, a group working to enable children to go to school in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
Notes: We are passionate about photography, and try to insure that everyone will reap the most enjoyment and benefit from our Workshops. We strive to take you to great locations, with great shooting opportunities and outstanding Workshop Leaders. Great Workshops, Great Leaders, Great Times!
